Everyone likes good news. The Gospel is GOOD NEWS. It’s the life changing exclamation of the love and forgiveness of God through Jesus Christ — clearly and fully explained in the Bible. The gospel gives new life and new purpose.

This is about spiritual lifestyle. God’s desire is that we allow His gracious character to influence every part of our life and thoughts. This life liberates us from a need to earn favor and from the guilt and shame that so often controls us. It does not mean we are perfect, but it does mean that we get to experience a perfectly gracious God. This gives every detail of our lives meaning. We are then inspired to act upon who He is in our everyday life.

All living things are designed to grow. Grace gives the spiritual nutrients for spiritual maturity. Grace provides the desire and ability to grow in relationship to God. It’s His work, not our own. Just as God’s grace enables us to know Him, it’s His grace that enables us to grow in Him.

When we find something we love (for example, a store, movie, restaurant or coffee shop), we often tell others about it and why we love it. Grace motivates us to tell others why God loves us and why we love God as we walk through life serving the poor, helping the hurting, feeding or befriending the lonely, and giving the hope the Gospel promises.

The Gospel was born out of the unconditional loving sacrifice of God’s Son. The 5G LIFE instills movement out of one’s self into the service of others through that sacrificial love.
